What the app does
Comments2PDF reads the Google Slides presentation you select, its slide previews and native comments, replies, authors and dates. It uses this data only to build a review document in your browser for printing or saving as PDF.
Selected-file access
Google sign-in and Google Picker grant access only to presentations you choose, using the drive.file permission. The app does not request access to your entire Drive and never modifies your slides or comments.
Browser memory only
Your presentation is fetched directly from Google. We do not upload or store your presentation on our servers. Access tokens, presentation IDs, slide preview URLs, comments and generated review data remain in temporary browser memory. Comments2PDF has no user account database and does not intentionally persist presentation contents or comments in its own database. We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage for this data. The app does not intentionally log access tokens or store them persistently.
Clearing data
Reloading the page, choosing another presentation or disconnecting clears the app's current review data. Disconnect also asks Google to revoke the current access token. You can remove the app's access from your Google Account permissions. A PDF or printout you save is under your control and is not cleared by the app.
Google and hosting
Google provides authentication, file selection and presentation data under its own policies. The hosting provider receives ordinary website requests and may keep standard operational logs such as IP addresses. Presentation IDs, tokens and comment data are not sent to our hosting provider by this app.
Optional analytics
Optional Vercel Web Analytics measures public page visits and actions such as selecting a presentation or printing. It uses no analytics cookies. The app sends only approved page paths, aggregate counts and fixed option/error categories; never presentation titles, filenames, file IDs, comment or reply text, author details, access tokens, OAuth codes, credentials, thumbnail URLs or other document contents. We do not use advertising trackers.
Use of Google data
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
